Working Environment

At Synnovis Blood Sciences Laboratories located within Kings College Hospital, you will collaborate closely with Biomedical Scientists and other clinical staff conducting various diagnostic tests. This role suits individuals intrigued by science and medicine but who do not possess a degree. It should be noted that these roles are distinct from Trainee Biomedical Scientist positions.

Work Schedule

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with quality assurance and inventory management duties.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment to ensure operational standards.
  • Prepare patient samples for analysis using specialized laboratory instruments.
  • File and retrieve samples and monitor outstanding work documentation.
  • Order and manage stock levels efficiently.
  • Perform data entry related to laboratory processes.
  • Respond to telephone inquiries professionally.
