Recognized in 2023 by Inc. 5000 as America's fastest-growing femtech company, Mira developed the market's only FDA-compliant at-home hormone monitor using quantitative testing technology. Their mission is to make hormone data accessible and meaningful, empowering women to understand their bodies and make informed health decisions through all life stages including cycle health, family planning, hormonal imbalances, and menopause transitions.

Committed to advancing health outcomes, Mira combines personalized insights, innovative technology, and scientific data to provide actionable hormone information for daily wellness.

About the Position

Mira is expanding its B2B efforts to engage healthcare practitioners who recommend its products. They are seeking a Medical Content Specialist to develop educational and persuasive content such as webinar presentations, scientifically based blog articles, and sales support materials tailored for clinicians.

The role involves hands-on content creation, translating clinical evidence and product details into succinct, credible information that respects the time and expertise of healthcare professionals. Collaboration with marketing and clinical teams is vital to maintain a steady content production pipeline. Initially part-time, the position will transition to full-time in October.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and structure webinar presentations and speaker decks suitable for clinical audiences.
  • Compose clinical blog posts interpreting studies, mechanisms, and product data geared toward practitioner readers.
  • Design sales enablement documents including one-pagers, product explainers, objection handling materials, email templates, and commercial team pitch aids.
  • Create and manage content calendars, briefs, and production trackers to ensure seamless content delivery.
  • Coordinate with designers and reviewers to finalize content assets.
  • Edit and proofread materials to ensure clarity, proper structure, claim accuracy, formatting, and appropriate calls to action.
  • Maintain alignment with Mira's brand voice, target practitioner personas, and evidence supporting the products.
  • Repurpose content across different formats to maximize asset utility.
  • Utilize AI tools to enhance productivity without compromising originality or accuracy.

Candidate Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in medical/scientific content creation, health or pharmaceutical marketing, medical communications, editorial work, or content operations.
  • A clinical or scientific background such as RN, PharmD, PhD, MD, or a life sciences degree is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proven skill in translating clinical or scientific content into clear, expert-level materials, supported by writing samples aimed at professional or clinical audiences.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and meticulous proofreading abilities with a sensitivity to claims.
  • Strong project management skills, comfortable handling multiple deadlines, stakeholders, and feedback simultaneously.
  • Experience in storyboarding presentations using PowerPoint, Google Slides, or familiarity with design tools like Figma is preferred.
  • Proficiency in employing AI and digital tools to improve efficiency without reducing quality.

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience marketing to physicians, nurses, or specialists in fertility or reproductive health.
  • Familiarity with content management systems, project management platforms, and email marketing tools, including an understanding of content's role in the sales funnel.
