Role Summary
The Media Planning Specialist will help plan and run digital media campaigns aimed at healthcare audiences in the US market. This role partners with senior media planners, media operations, analytics, and other cross-functional teams to turn data into practical media strategies. The position supports planning, launch, optimization, and reporting, while developing a strong grounding in digital media best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and support digital media plans across paid search, display, video, social, email, and mobile channels using audience and platform data.
- Track budgets by channel, manage pacing, and assist with optimization efforts aligned to KPI targets alongside Analytics and Media Operations.
- Launch and refine live campaigns using media platforms and tools, while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and strong performance.
- Create performance reporting and analysis that measure campaign results and guide next-step recommendations.
- Work closely with Media Operations, Finance, Project Management, SEM, Biddable, Analytics, and Client Services to deliver integrated campaign work.
Requirements
- At least 2–3 years of practical experience in digital media planning or execution, including setup, optimization, and reporting.
- Background supporting paid digital campaigns across several channels such as search, display, video, or social, with proven performance impact.
- Strong ability to review campaign data and turn findings into actionable optimization suggestions.
- Hands-on experience with media and operational tools such as DCM, Datorama, Genome, Excel, PowerPoint, or similar platforms.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and media vendors to deliver campaigns successfully.
- Comfort and eagerness to use AI as part of everyday work processes.
- Exposure to US healthcare or pharmaceutical campaigns in an agency setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with budget management, pacing, and reconciliation processes is preferred.
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior colleagues or coordinators is preferred.
- Interest in helping with new business efforts or process improvements is preferred.
Compensation
The base salary for this role is $60,000 to $68,000. The final offer will depend on factors such as work location, skills, education, and prior experience.
