Mechanical Engineer - Hospital Systems & Medical Gas Pipeline Systems

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a focus on Hospital Systems and Medical Gas Pipeline Systems (MGPS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in design review, healthcare mechanical infrastructure, and the execution of hospital-specific projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive reviews and verifications of mechanical design drawings, calculations, and specifications to ensure accuracy and full compliance with healthcare industry standards prior to implementation.
• Manage the review, supervision, installation, testing, and adherence of Medical Gas Pipeline Systems in line with international healthcare codes such as HTM 02-01 and NFPA 99.
• Oversee mechanical operations including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems designed specifically for hospital environments.
• Guarantee that all mechanical infrastructure adheres to strict quality, infection control, and healthcare environment standards, including ventilation requirements for cleanrooms and isolation rooms.
• Collaborate closely with consultants, contractors, project managers, and hospital officials to address and resolve design discrepancies and site-related inquiries.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in design review and site supervision within hospital or healthcare facility projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Medical Gas Systems, healthcare HVAC standards, design verification processes, and applicable international health facility regulations.
• Strong attention to detail complemented by excellent engineering review, communication, and project coordination skills.
