Job description

About Délidoor

Délidoor (JLMT PTY LTD) is an Australian artisan frozen meal company established by two French fathers who believe dinner should never be a compromise. Our chefs prepare over 190 meals from scratch in small batches, snap-freezing them at their freshest without preservatives, additives, or shortcuts. These meals are delivered across NSW, ACT, VIC, QLD, SA, WA, and TAS. Recognized in the AFR Fast Starters list, Délidoor is a rapidly expanding e-commerce brand, with marketing playing a crucial role in driving growth.

Role Overview

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for creating, coordinating, and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that foster business expansion, enhance brand visibility, and increase customer acquisition through both digital and traditional channels. This position demands a strategic yet hands-on approach, including content creation, CRM management, and campaign implementation. A strong focus on food content production is essential—crafting engaging social and advertisement video content, showcasing the appeal of chef-made meals, and managing the CRM program from start to finish, while collaborating closely with the company's co-founders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns aligned with organizational growth goals.
  • Analyze sales and consumer data to assess marketing effectiveness and propose optimizations.
  • Create end-to-end social and ad video content: scripting, filming, editing, and producing social-first videos for organic and paid platforms.
  • Capture appetizing food photography and videos that translate chef-made meals into compelling visual content.
  • Manage the entire CRM program, including newsletters, automated workflows, segmentation, and campaign scheduling using platforms such as Klaviyo or equivalents.
  • Oversee social media calendars and maintain brand presence on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  • Research market trends, consumer patterns, competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute seasonal and culturally themed campaigns, including notable occasions like Mother’s Day, Bastille Day, and Christmas, plus brand collaborations.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and tone across all customer interactions, encompassing website content, packaging inserts, and social media.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of content, CRM, and campaigns, providing actionable insights to company leadership.
  • Coordinate with external creative teams and media agencies by preparing briefs and managing partnerships.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related discipline, or an equivalent five years of relevant professional experience.
  • At least two years of demonstrated marketing experience combining strategic planning with practical content creation, ideally in food, hospitality, FMCG, or direct-to-consumer e-commerce.
  • Proven expertise in producing food-related content through photography and video styling; portfolio or examples are required.
  • Proficient in social-focused video production, including scripting, filming, and editing using tools like CapCut or Premiere.
  • Experience managing email and CRM systems, including automated flows and segmentation (e.g., Klaviyo).
  • Excellent analytical capabilities with familiarity in tools such as Google Analytics 4, Meta platforms, Shopify, and campaign performance reporting; able to derive insights from data.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with particular attention to maintaining consistent brand voice.
  • Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a small, dynamic founding team environment with a passion for quality food.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Knowledge of French culinary culture and/or proficiency in French language.
  • Experience managing paid digital advertising campaigns via Meta Ads or Google Ads (not required at start but beneficial as the role expands).

Salary and Benefits

  • Base salary of $80,000 per year plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.
  • Permanent full-time position based in Frenchs Forest, Sydney NSW.
  • Employee discount on the complete Délidoor menu, providing regular meals complimentary.
  • Opportunity to work closely with the founders of a fast-growing Australian food brand.
