Role Overview
This permanent position is a foundational role within Qantas Loyalty's newly established Centre of Excellence based at the Corporate Campus in Mascot. The Marketing Manager will oversee the strategy, planning, and execution of retail marketing campaigns for the Loyalty business, ensuring integration across Retail Partners, Coalition Partners, Shopping, and Qantas Business Rewards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive campaign strategies targeting retail loyalty portfolios.
- Collaborate with Marketing Planning, Partnerships, and Campaign Production teams for seamless campaign delivery.
- Lead campaign execution including creative development, project and media planning, and stakeholder engagement.
- Guide and mentor coordinators and graduates to build deep expertise and foster a high-performance culture.
- Manage campaign budgets and ensure all activities adhere to financial targets.
- Utilize data and research insights to optimize campaigns and drive measurable business results.
Candidate Profile
- Possess tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in marketing or advertising account management, with strong ability to assess marketing materials for strategic alignment, brand consistency, and compliance.
- Preferably experienced in retail or loyalty programs.
- A creative mindset with a passion for developing innovative solutions that support business goals.
- Capable of managing fast-paced workflows while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of campaign analytics and reporting methodologies, with hands-on exposure to data segmentation and analytics.
- Proven experience collaborating with internal commercial/product teams and external agencies or partners.
- Comfortable navigating legal and commercial requirements, effectively communicating constraints to stakeholders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to liaise confidently with senior management and external executives.
