Position Overview
Amazon is looking for a strategic and analytically minded General Marketing Manager to become a vital member of the Europe Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) Business Development team. This role focuses on the EU FBA Marketing division responsible for crafting seller engagement strategies spanning multiple FBA programs with the goal of boosting seller awareness, commitment, and adoption across various EU marketplaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage comprehensive Go-To-Market strategies encompassing audience targeting, segmentation, messaging, and channel selection for marketing campaigns.
- Oversee complex, multi-channel marketing programs independently to enhance customer engagement and drive business results.
- Establish and monitor key marketing metrics like open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and program adoption effectiveness.
- Optimize marketing efforts throughout the entire funnel: awareness, engagement, and conversion.
- Design scalable marketing processes and automation tools to accommodate multiple programs and diverse customer segments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align strategies, timelines, and success measures with stakeholders.
- Analyze campaign data to extract actionable insights for improving marketing impact.
- Implement measurement frameworks that connect marketing activities to enhanced customer experiences and business outcomes.
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and trade-offs to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Contribute to leadership reviews, develop GTM plans, and support performance reporting.
- Enhance marketing workflows, reporting systems, and operational efficiency.
- Influence strategic roadmap prioritization based on data-driven marketing insights and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years professional marketing experience, excluding internships.
- Proficient in quantitative data analysis and using customer research and metrics to validate assumptions and evaluate marketing program success.
- Proven experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including C-level executives and cross-functional teams.
- Track record of creating and executing expansive Go-To-Market strategies.
- Demonstrated success in managing marketing or communications campaigns.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel along with proficiency or familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or equivalent business intelligence platforms.
- Solid experience in defining targeting, segmentation, messaging, and channel strategies.
- Familiarity with monitoring key marketing funnel metrics such as open, click-through, and conversion rates.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in leveraging customer research, data, and metrics for forecasting and program evaluation.
- Experience conducting A/B testing focused on audience segmentation and targeting.
- Background working with diverse cross-functional teams in business development, marketing, operations, product development, and legal.
- Proven ability to drive demand and manage customer funnels across various channels.
- Strong capability to build partnerships and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Knowledge of marketing platforms including email marketing tools, web analytics, CRM, and marketing automation systems.
- Master's degree or higher in marketing, economics, business, or a related field.
- Experience creating scalable marketing mechanisms or automation solutions.
