About the Role
This contract position with Amazon Music Outbound focuses on managing retention and reactivation efforts through email and push notification campaigns. The objective is to maintain Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers, win back those who have lapsed, and reactivate Amazon Music for Prime users. The role is vital in executing a comprehensive experiment roadmap to improve subscriber retention throughout 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle campaign management for retention and reactivation initiatives targeting Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers using email and push platforms.
- Implement over 20 retention experiments in 2026 testing messaging strategies, promotional offers, and segmented audiences.
- Create audience segments and define targeting parameters uniquely for each retention program.
- Develop messaging content and creative briefs along with standard operating procedures to launch each test effectively.
- Track performance of experiments, calculate incremental impact, and communicate results to relevant stakeholders.
- Expand reactivation campaigns aimed at inactive Amazon Music Unlimited users.
- Advance experimentation for recovering customers opting out of auto-renewal settings.
- Design re-engagement strategies tailored to Amazon Music for Prime customers.
- Collaborate with product and tier marketing teams to synchronize roadmaps and extend successful tactics.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Experience with audience segmentation and targeting in lifecycle marketing campaigns.
- Background in CRM or performance marketing.
- Proficient in A/B testing, including designing tests and interpreting results to assess incremental effects.
- Practical skills in executing email and push notification campaigns.
- Demonstrated accountability in lifecycle or retention marketing roles.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational qualification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in subscription-based businesses.
- Exposure to managing high-volume experimentation programs.
- Knowledge of attribution modeling and measuring incrementality.

The Amazon Music Outbound team governs push and email communication across all customer lifecycle stages, necessitating strong collaboration. Contract Details
- Duration: 6-month contract, with a possibility for extension or conversion based on performance.
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including a one-hour lunch break, totaling 40 hours each week.
- Location: Culver City, California (onsite).
- Interview Process: Initial 1-hour phone screening with the hiring manager followed by a 1-hour virtual panel interview.
- Compensation: $68 to $75 per hour, offered by Tundra Technical Solutions, Amazon’s approved third-party contractor.
