About the Role
GSK Saudi Arabia is dedicated to advancing Vision 2030 and supporting the Saudi National Agenda, including Saudization initiatives focused on hiring and nurturing Saudi national talent. We are searching for a seasoned Marketing Manager to spearhead the launch and commercial expansion of our hematology product range in Saudi Arabia. This role is an integral part of the Oncology cross-functional team, contributing to brand development, enhancing customer experiences, improving market access, and executing integrated commercial strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with local, regional, and global teams to transform strategic plans into actionable operational initiatives for new hematology product launches in Saudi Arabia.
- Serve as a reliable and exemplary team member within the Oncology cross-functional group, offering coaching and constructive feedback to foster continual team growth.
- Build and sustain robust relationships with key oncology opinion leaders to ensure high-quality engagement with customers.
- Participate in the formulation of brand strategies and comprehensive marketing campaigns aligned with local laws and GSK standards.
- Deliver peer-to-peer educational sessions that clarify brand messaging and outline suitable patient profiles.
- Create and implement market access and reimbursement plans, collaborating with stakeholders to facilitate patient access in accordance with local guidelines and company policies.
- Oversee GSK sponsorship activities at regional conferences and work alongside medical societies to strengthen oncology advocacy and enhance corporate reputation.
- Identify growth opportunities and contribute to developing a strategic vision spanning 2 to 4 years.
- Allocate nearly half of working time to field engagement with healthcare professionals, aiding the sales force, gathering market intelligence, and ensuring commercial activities are well aligned.
- Manage resource distribution based on prioritized goals and oversee end-to-end brand management tailored to customer needs.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be a Saudi national.
- Hold a current SCFHS registration or card.
- Possess at least a bachelor's degree in pharmacy or an equivalent discipline.
- Have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical sector with a demonstrated successful performance record.
- Experience in oncology or hematology is required, either current or previous.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, in Arabic and English.
- Strong ability to execute strategies effectively and consistently meet or exceed objectives under tight deadlines.
- Proven track record in working collaboratively within diverse cross-functional teams and cultivating productive relationships with external stakeholders.
Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid work setting that combines office/home-based planning and stakeholder engagement with approximately 50% fieldwork, involving direct interaction with healthcare providers and sales team support. The role requires travel within Saudi Arabia and is based in either Riyadh or Jeddah.
