Job description
About Imprint
Imprint is creating a platform that helps leading brands increase the long-term value of their customers. The company began with co-branded credit cards and redesigned the model to be more intelligent, more rewarding, and centered on the brand. Imprint works with companies such as Crate & Barrel, Rakuten, Booking.com, H-E-B, Fetch, and Shell to launch modern credit programs that strengthen loyalty, create savings, and support growth. Beyond the card, Imprint combines payments infrastructure, advanced underwriting, and customer data to anticipate customer behavior and enable brands to launch financial products without operating as a bank.
Co-branded cards represent more than $300 billion in annual U.S. spend, and many still rely on legacy banking systems. Imprint positions itself as a modern alternative: flexible, embeddable, and designed for how people pay today. Supported by Kleiner Perkins, Thrive Capital, Ribbit, and Khosla Ventures, the company is building a strong team to reshape payments and brand growth.
Role Overview
The Marketing Manager, Go-To-Market will lead launch strategy, execution, and partner marketing for every new partner launch and conversion at Imprint. In this role, you will be the first marketing stakeholder in conversations with new partners, set expectations, educate partner teams on strong co-branded card marketing, and take accountability for launch success.
This is a high-impact individual contributor position reporting to the VP of Marketing. The role sits at the intersection of brand, growth, and partnerships, and serves as the marketing lead for partner relationships. You will turn partnership goals into effective co-marketing programs, drive acquisition and engagement through partner channels, and ensure consistent, high-quality brand execution across all partner touchpoints.
What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days
- Build strong working relationships with important partners and internal teams across Growth, Product, Business Development, and Lifecycle Marketing.
- Launch or improve at least one co-marketing initiative that clearly contributes to partner-driven acquisition.
- Develop a strong understanding of the partner marketing landscape and identify two to three high-priority growth opportunities.
- Create repeatable systems for partner campaign briefs, launch playbooks, and performance reporting.
- Earn trust as a proactive marketing partner with strong judgment who acts quickly and communicates clearly.
Key Responsibilities
You will own strategy, execution, and coordination across launch planning, partner education, creative alignment, and co-marketing performance.
Launch Strategy and Planning
- Set the launch strategy and target audience for every new partner launch and conversion.
- Work with general managers and the partner’s marketing team to build multi-channel launch plans spanning PR, lifecycle, web, affiliates, paid, and organic channels.
- Own launch readiness and execution across all marketing touchpoints.
- Coordinate with internal partners to build launch dashboards and define performance goals.
- Track and improve early performance during the first 60 days after launch.
Workback Schedule and Execution Management
- Own the end-to-end launch schedule and execution plan.
- Build and maintain detailed timelines across all marketing workstreams.
- Track dependencies across lifecycle, creative, operations, paid media, and data teams, and resolve blockers early.
- Manage milestones and deliverables so launch planning transitions smoothly into go-live.
- Drive alignment and accountability across every team involved in a launch.
Lifecycle Marketing Briefing
- Brief the lifecycle team on launch-specific email, push, and SMS campaigns in Imprint-owned channels, including objectives, target audience, learning agenda, and requirements.
- Brief internal channel owners on affiliates and paid media for multi-channel launch campaigns.
- Ensure briefs are detailed enough for lifecycle, creative, and channel teams to execute without confusion.
Creative Direction
- Brief creative teams to build toolkits that keep messaging consistent across Imprint and partner channels.
- Align creative and messaging across all launch channels.
- Lead creative reviews to confirm that assets match the launch strategy and partner brand guidelines.
- Provide final approval for launch creative.
Partner Education and Relationship Management
- Act as the main marketing contact for new partners during the launch period until responsibility moves to the ongoing lifecycle owner.
- Teach partner marketing teams what effective co-branded card marketing looks like, including channel mix, messaging, acquisition tactics, and journey design.
- Set practical expectations around timelines, creative needs, and campaign sequencing.
- Bring a clear, well-reasoned point of view to partner discussions and defend it confidently.
Co-Marketing Programs
- Design and execute co-marketing initiatives with brand and retail partners, including campaigns, content, events, and launch moments.
- Work with Business Development, Growth, and Product to turn partnership milestones into marketing activations.
- Use performance data and partner feedback to determine what is working, identify gaps, and improve program outcomes over time.
Institutional Knowledge and Standards
- Build and maintain Imprint’s launch marketing playbook so the process becomes more scalable and effective over time.
- Own the launch marketing knowledge base, capturing what has been learned from each launch and how future launches should improve.
- Define and uphold launch standards across new partners so the cardholder experience stays consistent regardless of partner size or tier.
- Share launch insights with the lifecycle team so evergreen journey design reflects early cardholder behavior.

The ideal candidate brings proven partner marketing experience, strong GTM thinking, and the ability to manage many moving parts with confidence.

- Strong knowledge of go-to-market strategy, campaign development, and multi-channel execution across PR, lifecycle, web, affiliates, paid, and organic.
