Job description

About the Company

ChargePoint is helping accelerate the shift to electric mobility by powering a major EV charging network and offering a broad mix of hardware, software, and mobile solutions across North America and Europe. The company works with drivers, businesses, automakers, policymakers, utilities, and other ecosystem partners to support the growth of e-mobility.

Founded in 2007, ChargePoint has remained focused on making electric transition simpler for businesses, fleets, and drivers. The company offers the chance to contribute to the growth of an all-electric future and a large-scale market opportunity.

ChargePoint promotes a workplace built around the values of being courageous, working together, staying customer-focused, operating openly, and relentlessly pursuing excellence.

Role Overview

This is a Europe-focused marketing leadership role based in Munich. You will report to the Senior Director - International Marketing & Strategy and act as the first dedicated marketing hire in the region. The role is highly execution-oriented and is designed to help build the marketing foundation across Europe while working closely with the regional sales team to create pipeline and support revenue growth.

Rather than defining strategy for others to carry out, you will personally deliver campaigns from start to finish. That includes managing events, webinars, email programs, content localization, and performance reporting, while also helping establish the processes and structure for a future team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and run field marketing initiatives across Europe, such as trade shows, customer gatherings, roundtables, partner events, and roadshows.
  • Manage webinars and other digital events end to end, including choosing topics, coordinating speakers, promoting the event, and handling post-event follow-up.
  • Work closely with the European sales team on account-based marketing efforts that support opportunity creation and faster deal progression.
  • Adapt global campaigns, messaging, and content for European audiences, using AI tools to help scale localization across multiple languages.
  • Create and oversee regional email campaigns, landing pages, and nurture journeys in coordination with demand generation teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local event organizers, media contacts, and external agency partners.
  • Own the European marketing calendar and stay aligned with global teams on launches, announcements, and campaign timing.
  • Measure and report on campaign outcomes, event return on investment, and pipeline contribution to show business impact.

Requirements

  • Practical B2B field marketing experience across European markets, with direct ownership of events, vendors, and campaigns.
  • Fluency in English and at least one other major European language such as German or French.
  • Comfort working independently as a one-person marketing function in a startup-style environment.
  • A collaborative mindset with a strong focus on results and an understanding of how marketing supports revenue generation.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage several campaigns, events, and stakeholders at once.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Europe for field marketing work.
  • Experience creating structure, processes, and programs in a build-from-scratch environment.
  • Hands-on execution experience across multiple European markets.
  • Ability to work closely with sales to influence pipeline and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience using AI tools to speed up marketing tasks such as content creation, translation, campaign analysis, and event planning.
  • End-to-end ownership of campaigns involving events, webinars, email, and digital channels.
  • Strong communication skills for working across countries, stakeholders, and time zones.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth environment without established regional marketing infrastructure.
