About the Role
Arvida is dedicated to fostering communities that empower older New Zealanders to live with connection, well-being, and purpose. We are seeking a Marketing Manager, officially titled Community Marketing Manager, to lead local marketing initiatives across a selection of villages. This role collaborates closely with the Head of Marketing and is part of a dynamic marketing team of eight members.
This position focuses on meaningful community-level marketing, supporting local teams to excel and cultivate genuine engagement. It is a commercially driven role that partners directly with sales teams to generate enquiries and boost conversion rates. The Marketing Manager will work closely with Village Sales Managers and Village Managers, prioritizing active listening to develop practical marketing plans and drive momentum.
The successful candidate will enthusiastically transform ideas from concept to execution while embracing a test, learn, and refine methodology.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Take full ownership of marketing campaigns from planning through delivery and continuous improvement.
- Establish strong, trusting relationships with stakeholders and engage them effectively.
- Manage marketing efforts across digital channels, content creation, communication, local activations, and events.
- Adapt resiliently to a fast-paced, evolving environment involving multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Bonus: Experience in greenfield projects, pre-selling, or complex lead generation environments is advantageous.
