Job description

About the Role

Versuni’s mission is straightforward: to help people make a house feel like home. The company works with a consumer-first mindset, collaborates across markets, and expects people to take full ownership of their work. These values guide how the business operates, innovates, and expands.

Based on these principles, Versuni is hiring a Marketing Lead to strengthen its footprint across the Middle East and Africa. This is a strategic regional leadership role with significant responsibility for shaping marketing direction and supporting business growth in a varied, fast-moving market.

In this position, you will act as the regional business owner for marketing, taking end-to-end responsibility for portfolio planning, profit and loss delivery, competitive positioning, customer engagement, and channel approach. You will also work within a company known for setting trends rather than following them.

If you are someone who combines strategic thinking with commercial accountability and enjoys influencing teams across functions and countries, this role offers a high-impact opportunity to drive meaningful results across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain an 18-month rolling forecast aligned to category targets and market conditions.
  • Shape portfolio direction by defining product positioning and competitive pricing that support profitable growth.
  • Adapt global plans for local markets using strong consumer understanding supported by market research and analytics.
  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure spending supports broader business and marketing objectives.
  • Plan and execute integrated 360-degree marketing campaigns with Media, E-Commerce, and Shopper Marketing teams to move customers from awareness to purchase.
  • Represent the company to customers such as distributors and retailers, and coordinate sales plans jointly with the Sales team.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a strong team of Marketing Managers.
  • Set up and sustain an effective working rhythm between internal teams and outside agencies, including creative, PR, media, and events partners.
  • Track regional and global market movements to identify opportunities and protect competitive advantage.
  • Work closely with local and global senior stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required, with a master’s degree preferred, in business or marketing.
  • At least 12 years of relevant experience in marketing and commercial roles, ideally within FMCG, consumer goods, or consumer electronics.
  • Strong capability in category strategy, end-to-end financial ownership, portfolio planning, activation planning, content development, and pricing strategy.
  • Proven experience managing marketing across multiple countries, preferably within local market organizations in the region.
  • Solid experience with P&L management, data interpretation, and commercial decision-making.
  • Previous people-management experience is necessary.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Strong stakeholder management ability across global teams.
  • A proactive, ownership-driven approach focused on category and business growth.
  • Comfort managing large marketing budgets with a clear focus on business results.

Perks and Benefits

  • Competitive base pay, benchmarked against leading companies with a global presence in the local market.
  • Allowance package that includes housing support, transport allowance, education allowance for children, a mobile allowance, and airfare support for the employee and family.
  • Annual performance-linked incentive program.
  • Comprehensive medical insurance for the employee and family.
  • Extra paid day off for celebrations such as Diwali, Easter, Christmas, and the employee’s birthday.
  • Discounts on selected Versuni products sold under the Philips brand.
  • Modern, conveniently located office with nearby facilities and a welcoming work environment.
  • Fast-growing, multinational workplace with exposure to local, regional, and global stakeholders.
  • Inclusive culture that values diversity and a strong family spirit.
