Role Overview
Ferrero invites applications for the Marketing Intern position focused on Premium Chocolate within its Canada Commercial Early Career Program. This opportunity is ideal for individuals eager to start a career in the sweet packaged foods sector and interested in understanding the full lifecycle of chocolate, candy, cookies, and biscuits production.
The Early Career Program offers post-secondary students or recent graduates in Finance, Business, or Accounting hands-on experience, allowing participants to explore Ferrero's culture and operations. The program blends technical knowledge with leadership skill-building essential for future career paths with Ferrero, culminating in potential permanent placements.
Program Highlights

Participants are supported by mentors who aid in skill development and performance evaluation. Upon successful program completion, individuals may be placed in specialized roles to further develop expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing product launches and relaunch timelines and materials
- Support packaging updates and coordinate artwork across various teams
- Coordinate media and content assets internally and with external agencies
- Oversee product samples and shipment logistics
- Track budget documents such as Statements of Work (SOWs) and Purchase Orders (POs)
- Perform competitive, category, and industry analysis to inform marketing strategies
- Support market tracking with Nielsen and other syndicated data tools
- Assist in ensuring retail readiness across sales channels
- Coordinate projects among Marketing, Shopper, Media, Sales, and agency partners
- Help prepare launch presentations, timelines, and communications
Candidate Profile
- Current undergraduate or graduate student (rising junior/senior) or a recent graduate in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Relevant coursework in marketing, consumer behavior, or data analysis preferred
- Experience through internships, projects, or competitions in marketing or business advantageous
- Ability to contribute effectively in team-based academic or extracurricular projects
- Interest in brand management, marketing, and the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Excel experience for analytics is a plus
- Analytical thinker capable of translating data into actionable strategies
- Adaptable, curious, and motivated to learn in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation across functions
- Exceptional organizational skills managing multiple priorities
Additional Information
The 8-month program runs from September 2026 to April 2027 in a hybrid format based in North York, Ontario. The role pays a base hourly wage of $23.00, subject to experience and qualifications.
