About the Role

Squish Planet seeks a passionate and inventive Marketing Intern for a six-month paid position based in our Za’abeel, Dubai office. This internship is perfect for individuals who delight in producing short video content, keep up with trending social media formats, and want immersive exposure to ecommerce and digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Create captivating TikTok videos and Instagram Reels that feature our products.
• Present on camera naturally to engage audiences through social media content.
• Edit videos using CapCut or comparable editing applications.
• Stay updated on the latest TikTok and Instagram trends and utilize them creatively.
• Propose innovative content ideas consistent with the Squish Planet brand identity.
• Manage uploading and optimization of content across social media channels.
• Interact by responding to customer comments and messages as needed.
• Support daily marketing activities and assist in content scheduling and planning.
• Collaborate with the team to enhance the quality and effectiveness of content.

Candidate Requirements

• Comfortable and confident appearing on camera to produce social media content.
• Experience with making TikTok videos, Instagram Reels, or other forms of short video content.
• Ability to film independently while adhering to creative guidelines.
• Proficiency in CapCut or similar mobile video editing tools.
• Good grasp of current trends on TikTok and Instagram platforms.
• Fluency in English communication; Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Organized, dependable, creative, and eager to learn and develop in marketing.
• Available to work onsite at Za’abeel, Dubai office.
• Have reliable transportation for commuting to work.
• Possess valid UAE residency for at least six months.

Additional Skills (Bonus)

• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT.
• Basic knowledge of Canva or graphic design applications.
• Previous involvement in ecommerce or social media marketing preferred.
