About the role
Blast is seeking an experienced AV Producer to help drive the final stages of major movie and episodic marketing campaigns. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys high-standard creative work, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and can bring steady judgment, flexibility, and collaboration to complex projects.
You will take ownership of the finishing workflow from the earliest planning stages through final handoff, ensuring marketing video assets are organized, reviewed, approved, and delivered smoothly to the right stakeholders.
What you will do
- Oversee the operational flow of video projects such as trailers, TV spots, promos, sizzles, and similar marketing assets from start to finish.
- Act as the main point of contact between creative teams, campaign management, and finishing teams.
- Build schedules, estimate timelines, and define completion expectations for each project.
- Secure required approvals and keep stakeholders informed of the plan.
- Identify risks early, resolve issues proactively, and communicate delays or progress updates clearly.
- Work confidently with AV formats, asset management fundamentals, and theatrical delivery standards such as DCP.
- Share creative notes and feedback with finishing partners.
- Perform quality checks on video files before final delivery.
- Send final assets to internal teams and external partners as needed.
- Coordinate with internal and external collaborators to align on requirements and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Keep marketing and creative teams updated on priorities, milestones, and due dates.
- Handle a high volume of video assets destined for outside partners.
What we are looking for
- At least 5 years of experience in creative services.
- Background working with or within a finishing/post-production vendor, creative vendor, advertising agency, network, streaming platform, or studio.
- Strong quality-control skills and a sharp eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a demanding, fast-paced setting.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience driving process improvements and/or implementing operations tools.
- Comfort learning and adapting to digital and software tools.
- Experience managing projects across multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, workload tracking, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Preferred experience with localization workflows, including graphics packages, subtitling, and dubbing for marketing materials.
- Preferred experience coordinating large-volume AV campaigns with teams across different locations.
- Preferred understanding of long-form post-production.
- Preferred knowledge of workflows in a marketing team, production company, or editorial environment.
- Video editing or sound services experience is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of video specifications, encoding workflows, and file formats is also a plus.
