Role overview
This position sits at the intersection of brand, trade, and event marketing for well-known international FMCG labels. You will help shape campaigns, support business growth, and translate market insights into effective promotional activity.
What you will do
You will partner with brand principals, sales, and internal management to build yearly marketing plans, run promotional campaigns, and strengthen in-store presence. The role also includes overseeing the full rollout of marketing initiatives and keeping trade marketing spending under control.
- Work together with the sales and brand functions to lift in-store sales, improve product visibility, and deliver trade marketing programmes.
- Build yearly trade marketing schedules and execute promotional plans.
- Define target customer groups, campaign goals, and measurable success indicators for each activity.
- Handle trade marketing budgets from end to end, including sourcing vendors, raising purchase orders, processing invoices, tracking spend, and maintaining cost discipline.
- Create and coordinate marketing collaterals for both digital and physical campaigns.
- Track market movements, customer behaviour, and competitor actions to uncover new opportunities.
- Organise trade shows, exhibitions, roadshows, and similar events that build brand awareness and audience engagement.
- Liaise with agencies, suppliers, and brand owners to ensure projects are delivered on time.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate is both imaginative and data-driven, with a strong interest in brand building and commercial results. You should be comfortable researching the market, reading consumer trends, and turning insights into practical marketing strategies.
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a closely related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Fresh graduates with a strong interest in trade marketing and event marketing may also be considered.
- Strong command of both English and Chinese.
- Exposure to social media and digital marketing is beneficial.
- Ability to use Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Additional information
This role involves working closely with multiple stakeholders and managing both strategic planning and hands-on execution. The focus is on trade marketing, brand support, and event activation across international FMCG brands.
