Job description

Company Overview

Chronic Trace, Inc. builds a brain-injury screening platform that brings objective neurological assessment to the places where head injuries happen most often, including sidelines, playing fields, emergency departments, and training centers. The system runs on ordinary phones and tablets and walks operators through evaluations covering postural balance, oculomotor performance, eye tracking, cognitive processing speed, and video-based impact review.

Assessment results are combined into a composite score, monitored over time against a person’s baseline, and used to support return-to-play and referral decisions with clear risk guidance. Designed with privacy as a priority, the platform enables anonymized subject tracking and protects each record through row-level access controls and tamper-evident audit trails, making it suitable for clinical, military, and research settings. The company’s mission is to build a standardized, portable evidence base for repetitive head trauma in populations that are often underserved by traditional concussion care.

Role Summary

This part-time, remote Marketing Director position is responsible for shaping and executing the company’s overall marketing direction. The role leads brand positioning, core messaging, and go-to-market planning for audiences across sports, clinical, military, and research segments.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will build and manage marketing campaigns, coordinate digital and content efforts, support market research, and align marketing activity with sales and business development objectives. You will partner closely with leadership to define growth priorities, oversee outside vendors or contractors when needed, and track performance metrics to improve results over time.

Qualifications

Applicants should bring strong marketing leadership experience and the ability to guide strategic planning across multiple channels. Experience with audience segmentation, market analysis, and growth-oriented collaboration is important, along with a proven ability to develop go-to-market plans for technology or health-focused products, especially in B2B or institutional environments.

Success in this role also requires the ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage several priorities at once, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with marketing analytics platforms, CRM or marketing automation tools, and digital campaign management is expected. A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience, is preferred. Interest or background in sports medicine, neuroscience, or digital health is an added advantage.
