Job description

About the Company

This organization is a rapidly growing, purpose-led education company established by educators in 2007. Operating as a Public Benefit Corporation, it focuses on creating research-backed curricula that help teachers and students succeed. The belief at the center of the work is that every student should have access to meaningful and challenging learning, and that educators should have practical, easy-to-use tools that fit real classroom needs.

Its curriculum portfolio includes Eureka Math, Wit & Wisdom, PhD Science, Geodes, and Arts & Letters ELA, and these programs are used by thousands of schools and districts across the country. Beyond curriculum development, the company supports educators through professional learning, technology, and responsive service, with a long-term aim of becoming a trusted partner that improves educational outcomes over time.

About the Role

The Marketing Copywriter will create persuasive, clear, and audience-focused content across a wide range of formats to support the company’s mission and offerings. Reporting to the Director of Content Strategy, this person will develop web pages, product brochures, email campaigns, case studies, blog content, and internal communications for educators and education leaders.

The role is centered on amplifying educator voices, highlighting success stories, and communicating the value and impact of the company’s curricula. It involves regular partnership with marketing, product, research, sales, and success teams to ensure all messaging stays aligned with brand standards, mission, and tone. The writer will also turn research, program information, and educator feedback into approachable stories that are easy for varied audiences to understand. Interviewing educators and customers to build authentic case studies and testimonials will also be an important part of the job.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create polished copy for websites, emails, blogs, case studies, brochures, and internal communications aimed at educator audiences.
  • Convert research insights, program data, and educator input into readable and engaging narratives.
  • Interview educators and customers to develop genuine case studies and success stories.
  • Apply the brand’s voice, mission, and messaging consistently across all content deliverables.
  • Handle several writing assignments at once while keeping deadlines on track and flagging timeline issues early.
  • Work closely with designers, subject matter experts, and marketing stakeholders throughout the content creation process.
  • Ensure every piece of content meets a high standard for clarity, accuracy, and quality.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in content writing, ideally in education or a mission-driven setting.
  • Strong ability in writing, editing, and proofreading for different formats and audiences.
  • Proven skill in turning complex information, including data and research, into concise and compelling copy.
  • Excellent organization and the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience interviewing educators or customers is an advantage.
  • Comfort using project management tools such as Smartsheet.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Education, or a related discipline.

Benefits

  • Competitive annual salary in the range of $64,000 to $70,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Remote work flexibility within the United States.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage options.
  • Paid time off plus holiday leave.
  • Access to professional development and ongoing training.
  • Supportive, collaborative, and inclusive workplace culture that values diversity and innovation.

Equal Opportunity

The employer is committed to equal opportunity and maintaining an inclusive workplace where everyone is treated with respect and dignity. Hiring decisions are made without regard to race, religion, color, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, genetic information, or any other status protected by law.
