Overview
The Marketing Coordinator at ESPN is integral to driving the creation and execution of cohesive marketing strategies designed to elevate ESPN’s brand recognition. This position supports the promotion of ESPN’s documentaries, podcasts, and television content, cultivating engagement among sports fans globally. Collaboration across multiple departments ensures consistent, impactful messaging aligned with ESPN's original content campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and deploying brand marketing campaigns that align with ESPN’s strategic goals and resonate with target audiences.
- Manage marketing operations such as events, promotions, sponsorships, and partnerships, ensuring smooth delivery and brand uniformity.
- Help develop marketing assets—including presentations, promotional materials, and digital content—following ESPN’s brand standards.
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer behavior trends to spot opportunities for brand expansion and deeper engagement.
- Work collaboratively with creative, digital, social media, and content teams to produce top-quality marketing materials.
- Help monitor and evaluate campaign effectiveness, offering insights and suggestions for ongoing optimization.
- Assist the Brand Marketing Associate Director in overseeing relationships with agencies, vendors, and partners, ensuring timely and budget-compliant deliverables.
- Keep informed about industry developments, new technologies, and best practices within brand marketing and sports entertainment.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 months of experience in marketing, brand management, or sports marketing.
- A strong enthusiasm for marketing and sports fan engagement.
- Proven history of executing marketing campaigns focused on audience acquisition, retention, and engagement with measurable results.
- Effective problem-solving skills and adaptability within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Interest in the evolving sports media landscape.
- Comfortable performing data analyses in collaboration with research teams.
- Excellent teamwork capabilities with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Educational Requirements
- Minimum qualification: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred qualification: Bachelor’s degree.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this full-time role in New York, NY spans from $56,600 to $75,900 annually, based on a standard 40-hour workweek. Weekly hours may fluctuate depending on business requirements. Actual pay considers internal equity, candidate’s geographic location, expertise, and competencies.
