About AEG
AEG has spent over 20 years shaping the world of sports and live entertainment. Each year, the company welcomes more than 160 million guests, promotes over 10,000 shows, and stages more than 22,000 events globally. Its reach spans 300+ venues, major sports properties, leading music brands, entertainment districts, ticketing infrastructure, and sponsorship programs, all aimed at creating unforgettable experiences.
The organization emphasizes creativity, innovation, and community impact. It also works toward building a diverse and inclusive workplace that reflects the audiences it serves, while pursuing sustainable business practices and reducing environmental impact.
If you are looking for a role where you can grow, contribute, and make a visible difference, this opportunity may be a strong fit.
Role overview
The Marketing Coordinator will support marketing, social media, digital promotions, public relations, and venue/event campaigns across venues, radio promotions, clubs, theaters, festivals, shows, and one-off events. The position also helps build promotional initiatives with artists and local communities to strengthen brand presence and audience engagement. In some cases, this role may also coordinate interns and street teams involved in show promotion.
Key responsibilities
- Track marketing trends at the regional level and within the artist space, then adapt campaigns and promotional approaches based on what is working in the market. Review audience segments to target the right demographics for shows, tours, and festivals.
- Support day-of-show preparation and execution, including radio station setups, remote broadcasts, and escorting media photographers and news teams.
- Draft, proofread, and send weekly newsletters. Prepare and distribute e-cards and e-blasts using the AXS Advantage platform. Verify that venue details and links are accurate, flag issues to designers, and complete final review and sign-off.
- Run social media accounts, research new giveaway ideas and promotional prizes, and work with artists to amplify show promotion through their own channels. Build posting schedules around key milestones such as announcements, on-sales, maintenance, and backend deadlines.
- Prepare and submit show settlements, including actuals, supporting backup, and campaign-specific notes.
- Maintain a central record of ticket links and verify pre-sale passwords, billing details, artwork on ticket pages, and venue website information.
- Coordinate digital asset trafficking for campaigns, including ad mats, banners, videos, and related materials.
- Build strong working relationships with partners, co-promoters, and media contacts. Help develop community-focused initiatives and coordinate artist promotions, including meet-and-greets.
- Where needed, handle expense report uploads, update the office calendar, order supplies, and provide general administrative support.
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or an equivalent credential.
- 2 to 4 years of related professional experience.
- Experience managing event calendars.
- Working knowledge of MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Photoshop.
- Basic understanding of accounting concepts.
- Strong written and spoken communication abilities.
- Well-developed public relations, social media, and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic, with the ability to solve problems and prioritize effectively.
- Comfort working both independently and collaboratively.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think beyond standard approaches.
- Familiarity with the music industry is preferred.
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this role is $17.97 to $26.44 per hour. This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan.
As a full-time employee, benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage; paid holidays; vacation and sick leave; company-paid basic life insurance; voluntary life insurance; parental leave; a 401(k) plan with a current 3% employer match; flexible spending and health savings account options; and wellness offerings.
