Role overview
Arctic Fox is recruiting a Marketing and Communications Officer for an NSW Government client. This position is designed for a creative, strategically minded communications professional who can help deliver high-quality marketing activity across a range of portfolios.
Location: St Leonards, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, with the office located about a 2-minute walk from the station.
Engagement details: Contract role running from ASAP until 26 February 2027.
Pay: $405 per day, inclusive of superannuation.
Work arrangement: Hybrid setup with two fixed office days each week (Tuesdays are mandatory; the second office day is flexible) and three work-from-home days.
About the position
In this role, you will coordinate marketing and communications activity across the organisation, including public relations campaigns, promotional initiatives, and exhibitions. Working within a decentralised business partnership model, you will serve as a key contact for internal stakeholders and help deliver a strong customer-focused service.
What you will do
- Prepare polished documents and promotional content using strong writing and design capability.
- Assist in shaping and rolling out strategic communications and marketing plans.
- Act as a trusted partner to business portfolios by providing practical marketing and communications advice.
- Design and support digital marketing activity across owned, earned, and paid channels.
- Help grow digital communities and create content that drives engagement.
- Review and interpret data sources, including web analytics, and turn findings into useful reports and insights.
- Contribute to training and education initiatives that improve the quality of marketing outputs across the organisation.
