About the role
DLF is a global seed cooperative based in Denmark. Its New Zealand business operates through PGG Wrightson Seeds, while DLF Seeds serves Australia. The organisation supports markets across the seed value chain, spanning research and development, seed supply, and on-farm support.
The Christchurch marketing team is seeking a driven professional to join in a full-time position supporting marketing activity across New Zealand. This opportunity suits someone ready to grow their marketing career in a varied, hands-on role.
What you will do
- Plan, coordinate, and carry out marketing campaigns, sponsorship activities, and other business support tasks.
- Create promotional and advertising materials.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager, Business Unit Managers, Brand Managers, and the wider marketing function.
- Support and attend exhibitions held throughout New Zealand.
- Build and manage social media content across the company’s platforms.
- Support marketing communications and sponsorship initiatives.
- Work with the New Zealand Business Unit and engage with PGG Wrightson Seeds employees, customers, marketing colleagues, and external agencies to deliver marketing collateral and activities.
What you will need
- A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 12 months of experience in marketing, advertising, or communications is ideal, with agribusiness or the primary sector being an advantage.
- Strong capability in website content administration and social media management.
- The ability to offer practical marketing support and advice to different stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adapt messages for varied audiences.
