Role Overview
We are seeking an Event Marketing Manager who will lead all aspects of our in-person presence including industry conferences, hosted dinners, and activations. This role requires hands-on management of event logistics, vendor coordination, and budget oversight. A critical function is converting event attendance and interactions into qualified sales opportunities through effective outreach, lead qualification, and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end planning and execution of company participation at conferences, including booth operations, logistics, staffing, and event follow-up.
- Conceptualize and execute Triomics-hosted events such as dinners and field activations.
- Coordinate with vendors, manage budgets, and ensure all event components come together flawlessly.
- Actively engage with attendees to generate and qualify leads onsite, handing them over smoothly to sales teams.
- Develop and implement pre-event outreach and post-event follow-up strategies to convert leads arising from badge scans into productive conversations.
- Assess event effectiveness continuously to optimize formats and investments that drive pipeline growth.
- Represent Triomics credibly and engagingly to clinical and hospital stakeholders, articulating our value proposition persuasively.
- Gather feedback from the field and communicate insights back to internal teams.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing to align event strategies with pipeline objectives and help build scalable event playbooks.
Success Criteria (First 90 Days)
- Complete ownership of at least one conference or hosted event from start to finish.
- Establish effective pre- and post-event engagement processes that generate qualified leads.
- Earning sales team confidence regarding lead handoff quality.
- Ability to confidently represent Triomics in professional discussions during events.
- Identify and recommend high-value events and formats for future investment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing events and exhibition booths thoroughly from start to finish.
- Energetic, personable, and skilled at initiating conversations with new contacts.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to handle logistics, vendors, budgets, and timelines flawlessly.
- Capability to hold approximately ten-minute credible discussions with hospital or clinical decision-makers.
- Self-driven, with a bias toward action and ownership of events without direct supervision.
- Willingness to travel roughly two to four times per year for events and activations.
- Effective communication skills and meticulous follow-through.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience in conference-based sales development or lead generation.
- Background in health technology, healthcare, or startup environments.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing or event management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to connect event activities directly to sales pipelines.
- Skills in design or content creation for event marketing collateral.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $140,000 annually.
