Role Overview

Chandi Hospitality Group is seeking a Marketing and Branding Manager to shape and execute end-to-end marketing plans that strengthen brand presence, deepen customer engagement, and support revenue growth in the restaurant and hospitality space. The role blends strategic planning with hands-on delivery across digital, offline, ATL, BTL, PR, and experiential marketing efforts.

Role Details

Location: Mohali, Punjab

Work Schedule: US shift, 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM

Reporting Line: Business Development Director / VP

Experience Needed: 8+ years

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Setup: Office-based, with travel required for events, store launches, and activations

Brand Strategy and Market Understanding

  • Create and roll out a branding plan that reflects the company’s vision, mission, and core values.
  • Use market research to better understand customer behavior, dining trends, and competitor positioning in hospitality.
  • Set brand standards and ensure consistent application across every online and offline customer touchpoint.

ATL, BTL, and Offline Marketing

  • Plan and manage ATL activity such as print, radio, outdoor advertising, transit media, and brand partnerships.
  • Lead BTL initiatives including in-store promotions, sampling, local activations, loyalty programs, and partnership-led campaigns.
  • Oversee offline branding work such as menu design, packaging, POS materials, and store-level visibility assets.
  • Develop local store marketing plans that help drive footfall and neighborhood engagement.

Campaigns and Promotions

  • Build integrated campaigns that run across digital and offline channels.
  • Handle campaign delivery from planning through execution, keeping timing, budgets, and targets on track.
  • Measure campaign impact continuously and fine-tune activity to improve ROI and customer acquisition.

PR and Influencer Outreach

  • Design public relations plans that improve brand reputation and media presence.
  • Maintain relationships with media outlets, food writers, bloggers, and influencers.
  • Manage press releases, media features, coverage, and crisis communication when needed.
  • Organize influencer tie-ups, tasting events, and social engagement to expand brand awareness.

Events and Experiential Marketing

  • Plan and execute restaurant launches, food festivals, promotional events, and brand activations.
  • Coordinate event partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations to increase visibility.
  • Supervise both in-store and outdoor events to improve customer experience and engagement.

Content and Communication

  • Guide content planning across digital and offline channels, including social media, websites, emailers, and print creatives.
  • Keep all communication aligned with the brand voice and intended audience.
  • Work with designers, agencies, and content creators to produce high-quality materials.

Digital Marketing and Social Media

  • Develop plans for SEO, SEM, social media, and performance marketing.
  • Manage social channels with relevant, engaging, and trend-aware content for the F&B audience.
  • Stay updated on digital trends and explore new platforms to support brand growth.

Reporting, Research, and Budgeting

  • Monitor KPIs such as footfall, campaign ROI, engagement, retention, and sales growth.
  • Conduct brand audits and collect customer feedback to improve brand perception.
  • Share clear reports and actionable insights with senior leadership.
  • Study market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
  • Plan and manage budgets across ATL, BTL, digital, and events, ensuring strong return on investment.

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Lead, support, and motivate the marketing team with a focus on innovation and accountability.
  • Work closely with Operations, Sales, and Culinary teams so marketing efforts support business goals.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous learning and performance improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field is required; an MBA is preferred. The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of experience in marketing or branding, including at least 3 years in a leadership position, preferably within restaurants, QSR, or hospitality.

Skills and Personal Attributes

The right candidate should bring strong expertise in ATL, BTL, offline, and experiential marketing, along with a solid understanding of restaurant and hospitality marketing. Proficiency in digital tools, analytics, and CRM platforms is important, as are strong communication, storytelling, stakeholder management, and analytical skills. The role also calls for someone who can juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines, works with ownership, and stays focused on execution. A creative mindset, commercial thinking, attention to detail, and a passion for food, dining trends, and customer experience are key. Experience with multi-location brands, PR, influencer marketing, collaborations, Adobe Suite, video/content production, and launching new restaurant concepts would be an advantage.

Additional Information

This is a full-time office-based role with a US shift schedule. Travel will be part of the position for events, store openings, and on-ground activations.
