About the Role
This position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced print, web, and digital designer to lead creative processes for a prestigious Australian rural brand. The role is hands-on and covers the entire creative cycle from concept to delivery, supporting varied campaigns across print, digital, and event channels. Based primarily in regional centers such as Tamworth, Toowoomba, or Wagga Wagga, you will be deeply connected to the rural communities the company serves.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all stages of creative projects including briefing, designing, final artwork, and ensuring technical compliance across media.
- Create on-brand materials spanning press advertisements, multipage brochures, eDMs, landing pages, and social media content.
- Manage print production logistics with vendors, including specifications, scheduling, quality checks, and cost negotiations.
- Produce photography and video assets to complement marketing campaigns.
- Write and develop compelling copy to reinforce the visual messaging.
- Support product launches and events with tailored collateral and content.
- Maintain and enhance website content, researching product details and optimizing user resources.
- Administer digital platforms such as email marketing, banner ads, and social media, including technical and customization aspects.
- Track and report on campaign engagement and effectiveness relative to objectives.
- Ensure brand consistency company-wide while contributing to brand evolution.
- Coordinate external agencies and suppliers efficiently to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Keep accurate records adhering to data storage and intellectual property policies.
- Continuously update technical skills relevant to the role.
Candidate Profile
- Proven professional experience in a design and marketing capacity, capable of producing high-quality work across multiple formats under deadlines.
- An extensive portfolio showcasing print, web, and digital projects.
- Expert mastery of Adobe Creative Suite tools, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
- Strong knowledge of print production fundamentals such as pre-press processes, color management, paper stock, and print supplier coordination.
- Competence with web content management systems, with a preference for WordPress experience.
- Experience with bulk email marketing platforms, including abilities in personalization and coding.
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
- Highly organized, self-driven, and skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Positive attitude and integrity, effective in interactions with staff, clients, suppliers, and rural communities.
Additional Assets
- Skills in still and video photography, including editing.
- Drone imaging capabilities.
- Ability to create 3D images from CAD data.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot for segmentation and automation.
- Background or knowledge of the agricultural sector.
