Within the competitive landscape, the Marketing, Communications, and Business Development (MCBD) team plays a vital role in enhancing Arup's reputation, cultivating client relationships, securing quality projects, and attracting leading talent. We are looking to enhance our MCBD function by hiring a Marketing and Communications Coordinator.
Role Overview
The appointed individual will support marketing, communications, and event execution across Australia, New Zealand, East Asia, and Southeast Asia. This includes coordinating campaigns, crafting content, assisting client engagements, and contributing to performance reporting to identify improvements.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing marketing and communication campaigns covering email, social media, website content, and client outreach.
- Organize client and internal events by managing invitations, coordinating with suppliers, handling logistics, preparing briefing materials, and compiling post-event analyses.
- Contribute to the development and promotion of project stories, award entries, industry partnerships, and sponsorship initiatives throughout the region.
- Manage campaign and event calendars, support reporting activities, and analyze campaign performance, market trends, and media coverage.
- Provide general coordination support within the regional marketing and communications team and collaborate with MCBD colleagues.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses relevant educational background in marketing, communications, media, commerce, or a related discipline with experience in a professional services or business setting.
- Exhibits strong written communication abilities, capable of tailoring content for various audiences and channels.
- Experience supporting marketing and digital content initiatives across social media, websites, emails, and CRM systems.
- Confident in engaging diverse internal and external stakeholders with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Well-organized, capable of juggling multiple priorities, event coordination, and maintaining a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrates a collaborative and proactive attitude aligned with Arup’s core values.
