The selected candidate will turn complex research findings into clear, practical recommendations that support informed decision-making.
Core Responsibilities
The role involves sourcing, checking, structuring, and examining information from surveys, customer feedback, industry publications, market databases, online analytics, and publicly available sources. It includes assessing consumer behavior, buying patterns, market movements, competitor actions, and broader industry shifts to uncover opportunities, risks, and emerging trends.
The job also covers the preparation of research reports, competitor studies, presentations, dashboards, executive briefs, and business recommendations that present findings in a concise, organized, and evidence-based format. Additional work may include market sizing, customer segmentation, pricing studies, product positioning research, trend forecasting, and performance review to support strategic planning and marketing efforts.
In this role, you will work closely with teams across marketing, product, sales, finance, strategy, and management to define research goals, evaluate campaign performance, strengthen customer insights, and provide analysis that contributes to business growth. You will also help improve research methods, data accuracy, reporting systems, and business intelligence workflows to make research processes more effective and reliable.
Ongoing tracking of industry activity, customer preferences, economic changes, new technologies, and competitor strategy is expected so that outputs stay current, useful, and aligned with organizational priorities.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of market research methods, business analysis, consumer behavior, competitive intelligence, and both quantitative and qualitative research approaches. The ability to gather, assess, and interpret detailed market information for decision support is essential.
Hands-on familiarity with spreadsheets, survey tools, data analysis applications, reporting systems, business intelligence platforms, and presentation software is important. Exposure to statistical methods, data visualization, and digital analytics tools will be considered an advantage.
Strong analytical ability, numerical reasoning, and critical thinking are needed to identify trends, evaluate performance, produce insights, and suggest practical next steps. Knowledge of survey creation, sampling, market sizing, customer segmentation, pricing analysis, competitor benchmarking, forecasting, and performance measurement is also valuable.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills are required, along with the ability to create professional reports, presentations, executive summaries, and supporting documentation for varied stakeholders.
Additional strengths should include good organization, high attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to handle several research assignments at once while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative, and results-oriented environment.
