Job description
Role overview
This is a field-focused market and partnership role supporting regional expansion across a multi-state territory in the United States. The position combines local marketing, relationship management, and on-the-ground activations to increase customer acquisition and strengthen brand visibility. You will serve as the main point of contact between the platform, dispensary partners, and brand stakeholders while turning broader growth plans into effective local execution.
The work is highly mobile and fast paced, with frequent travel and a strong need for independent decision-making. Success in this role depends on building trusted partnerships, delivering measurable return on investment, and creating culturally relevant programs that improve partner presence and commercial results.
Key accountabilities
- Oversee a defined multi-state territory and support regional marketing efforts that align with acquisition and growth targets.
- Develop strong working relationships with dispensaries, brand partners, and other stakeholders through regular visits and in-person retail appreciation activities.
- Lead local campaigns, events, and activations from planning through delivery, including budgeting, logistics, vendor management, and post-event reporting.
- Create and sustain partnerships in entertainment, sports, fashion, and community spaces to increase relevance and visibility.
- Work closely with sales and cross-functional teams to help drive revenue goals, improve client experience, and make regional marketing spend more effective.
- Measure campaign, partnership, and activation performance and use results to improve future strategy.
- Make sure all field work and partner interactions meet brand standards while balancing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in marketing, field marketing, partnerships, or regional marketing, preferably in a fast-moving or agency-style environment.
- Solid knowledge of marketing execution, event production, and partnership building, with the ability to manage several projects at once.
- Background in regulated industries such as cannabis is preferred, or familiarity with cannabis marketing best practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders across different audiences and seniority levels.
- Experience handling budgets, reviewing campaign results, and making decisions based on ROI.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable with a field role that involves extensive travel of up to 80% and significant time on the road.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and the ability to operate company vehicles for event and activation work.
Benefits and compensation
The role offers a competitive annual base salary between $81,338 and $92,060, with eligibility for performance-based bonus pay.
Additional benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with strong employer contributions, a 401(k) plan with employer match, paid time off, sick leave, company holidays, and scheduled shutdown periods. Other available benefits may include HSA/FSA options, life and disability insurance, supplemental coverage, wellness support, identity protection, legal assistance, commuter-related benefits, and learning and development programs, depending on eligibility.
