Role overview

This is a core People Operations position centered on supporting the employee journey and keeping HR processes running smoothly, accurately, and efficiently. The role helps deliver a positive employee experience by coordinating essential HR tasks such as onboarding, offboarding, role changes, and internal moves. You will partner with HR Generalists and other teams to maintain clean HR data, manage routine operational work with care, and respond to employee questions as a first point of contact.

The position is offered in the United States and is handled by a partner company that oversees applications and subsequent steps.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate employee lifecycle activities from start to finish, including onboarding, offboarding, job changes, contract updates, and internal transfers.
  • Support HR Generalists with daily administrative and operational work so employee processes are completed accurately and on time.
  • Keep employee information current and consistent across HR systems and related platforms.
  • Respond to routine People Operations questions, resolve standard issues, and route more complex matters to the right team.
  • Manage the People Operations inbox by sorting incoming requests and tracking timely follow-up.
  • Help build and update HR documents, SOPs, and internal guides that support self-service and consistency.
  • Monitor HR workflows, follow up on outstanding items, and help ensure compliance-related tasks are completed within required timelines.
  • Spot recurring questions or process bottlenecks and suggest ways to improve HR operations.

Requirements and qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or HR coordination.
  • Working knowledge of HR processes such as onboarding, employee lifecycle support, and HR administration.
  • Experience with HRIS tools; ChartHop and ADP experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Clear, professional communication skills in writing and speaking across all levels of the organization.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and limited supervision.
  • High discretion and integrity when managing sensitive employee data.
  • Problem-solving mindset and curiosity about HR operations and process improvement.
