Overview
A private equity-backed financial consulting firm is seeking a Managing Director/Partner-level leader based in Boston to drive strategic finance transformation initiatives. The role emphasizes supporting CFOs and finance leadership teams in achieving impactful finance changes across multiple domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement finance operating models.
- Lead transformations in Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
- Enhance performance management and financial reporting processes.
- Develop and optimize shared services and centers of excellence.
- Guide ERP and EPM-enabled finance transformations.
- Advocate finance technology adoption, data strategies, and automation solutions.
- Create and implement finance transformation roadmaps.
- Manage post-deal finance transformation and value creation initiatives.
Required Profile
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Finance Transformation, CFO Advisory, or Strategic Finance.
- Current or prior role as a Partner, Managing Director, or Principal.
- Strong background in consulting or professional services.
- Extensive professional network in Boston and the Northeastern U.S.
- Track record of generating revenue through advisory engagements.
- Experience balancing hands-on delivery, business development, and team leadership roles.
Additional Preferred Experience
Accounting Advisory experience is highly valued, particularly around controllership, financial reporting, technical accounting, IPO readiness, and transaction accounting.
