Position Overview

We present a senior leadership position for an experienced private equity professional eager to influence Asia-Pacific strategy within a global mid-market investment platform. This role focuses on industrial sectors and value-add infrastructure investment themes, supporting an expansion of operations in the APAC region from the firm's Sydney base.

Key Responsibilities

As Managing Director, you will spearhead the sourcing and execution of mid-sized investment deals across Asia-Pacific, serve on multiple portfolio company boards, and collaborate closely with the firm's global leadership to steer investment decisions and asset management efforts.

Candidate Profile

• At least 15 years of experience in private equity and/or investment banking with substantial APAC involvement.
• Specialized knowledge in industrial sectors, value-add infrastructure, or related real asset classes.
• Demonstrated leadership in originating, structuring, and exiting deals.
• Boardroom experience complemented by the capability to represent the firm credibly at senior levels.
• Extensive networks across Australia, Japan, Southeast Asia, and the wider Asia-Pacific region.
• An entrepreneurial approach coupled with the aptitude to lead and develop a regional investment team.
