Position Overview
The role is with DePuy Synthes, a standalone orthopaedics company being established following Johnson & Johnson's separation of its Orthopaedics business. This transition is expected to complete within 18 to 24 months, pending legal and regulatory approvals and consultations with employee bodies. Post-transaction, employment terms will follow DePuy Synthes policies and benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and communication of business objectives and strategies aligned with broader regional and global directives.
- Steer commercial and marketing initiatives to achieve or surpass sales and profit goals.
- Build and cultivate a diverse, high-performing leadership team within an inclusive culture that promotes empowerment and collaboration.
- Assume full responsibility for profit and loss management, monitoring results and implementing necessary corrective steps to secure profitability and capital efficiency.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with customers, key opinion leaders, distributors, and strategic partners to foster innovative distribution and commercialization models.
- Guide innovation and business growth by developing new solutions and organizational capabilities attuned to evolving market needs and supporting digital transformation.
- Lead commercial negotiations, create strategic account plans, and execute initiatives that drive sustainable growth.
- Ensure all operations comply with strict legal and ethical standards.

Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated annual salary ranges between €104,000 and €179,515. In addition to base salary, employees may receive an annual bonus tied to performance, vacation and parental leave (minimum 12 weeks), bereavement, caregiver and volunteer leaves, wellbeing reimbursements, and various health and insurance benefits for eligible employees and dependents.
