- Collaborate closely with the Senior Vice President, Head of Sales and Relationship Management to implement regional client strategies, unearth expansion prospects, and support overall business goals for the MENA market.
- Serve as the principal client advocate within State Street by coordinating across cross-functional teams—including product, client service, operations, onboarding, legal, risk, compliance, and technology—to deliver bespoke and prompt client solutions.

- Represent State Street at senior client meetings and industry forums, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to the MENA region.
- Lead and mentor the regional relationship management team, fostering a collaborative, high-performing, and client-focused culture.
- Uphold rigorous risk management standards and ensure all client interaction complies with legal, regulatory, governance, and conduct requirements.
Leadership Expectations
- Operate as a key regional leader, combining commercial insight with strong risk awareness and balancing client demands with overarching enterprise goals.
- Promote synergy between State Street’s regional and global teams to showcase the full strength of investment servicing, markets, financing, data, and investment management offerings.
- Exhibit executive presence and garner credibility among C-suite executives, CIOs, COOs, and senior investment and operations leaders.
- Encourage accountability, collaboration, and clear communication across complex client relationships and internal teams.
- Help define State Street’s strategic future within MENA by deepening partnerships with prominent institutional investors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Substantial experience in institutional relationship management, client coverage, strategic account management, or other senior client-facing roles within financial services.
- In-depth knowledge of the MENA institutional investor ecosystem, including sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, central banks, asset managers, and government-related bodies.
- Proven ability to manage multifaceted client relationships involving multiple products such as investment servicing, custody, fund administration, middle office, data, analytics, markets, or investment management.
- Successful history of building trusted senior-level relationships, managing escalations, driving revenue growth, and maintaining exceptional client satisfaction.
- Experience leading teams or influencing cross-functional groups across multiple regions and business units.
- Strong business acumen, strategic mindset, and the capacity to translate client priorities into concrete relationship plans.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, enabling confident engagement with senior executives and technical experts.
- Integrity, sound judgment, resilience, and cultural sensitivity with a background in working within regulated environments.
