  • Partner closely with internal teams including Sales, Product, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Finance to deliver seamless client services.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to grow client relationships by aligning client demands with State Street’s capabilities across asset servicing, markets, data, technology, and investment solutions.
  • Participate in account planning, pipeline management, revenue enhancement, client retention, and strategic review meetings.
  • Assist with RFP responses, due diligence questionnaires, client presentations, briefing documents, and senior-level updates.
  • Organize client meeting preparations internally, monitor agreed actions, and ensure timely follow-through among stakeholders.
  • Maintain rigorous governance including accurate documentation of client records, pipelines, meeting notes, relationship plans, and risk compliance.
  • Conduct all client interactions and business activities adhering strictly to firm policies, regulatory standards, fiduciary responsibilities, and risk frameworks.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in relationship management, client coverage, sales, or client service within financial services such as asset servicing, asset management, custody, capital markets, or related institutional sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of Middle Eastern institutional clients, including sovereign wealth funds, official institutions, pension funds, asset managers, family offices, and banks.
  • A track record of managing senior-level client relationships and effectively navigating complex regional, functional, and cultural environments.
  • Familiarity with strategic account planning, revenue growth, client retention strategies, RFP processes, due diligence, and executive-level client communications.
  • Understanding of investment operations, custody, fund services, data solutions, markets, or investment management products is advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, accounting, law, or a related field; advanced qualifications or postgraduate studies are a plus.

Skills and Competencies

  • Commercial acumen to identify client needs, frame business opportunities, and support disciplined execution.
  • Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple demands in a dynamic environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with aptitude to influence within a matrixed and global organization.
  • High integrity, professional accountability, and risk-conscious approach.
  • Effective written communication skills for preparing clear, concise, and professional client documents.
  • Good cultural competency and understanding of relationship-driven business development within the Middle East.
