Currently driving an aggressive globalization strategy, the company aims to expand its presence in the European market through a dynamic Business Development Manager or Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough customer development and market planning including analyzing customer profiles, financial plans, procurement budgets, competitor intelligence, and identifying challenges and opportunities.
- Engage in comprehensive product planning by gathering market-driven product requirements and assessing competitor products.
- Manage customer relationships effectively through visits and addressing complaints.
- Oversee project operations and ensure successful contract execution by managing planning, process control, negotiations, and monitoring contract adherence.
- Develop and manage agency channels, ensuring maintenance, supervision, and smooth business operations.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Possess 4 to 5 years or more experience in sales, marketing, or business development within the corrugated machinery sector, with a solid understanding of the equipment and industry business models.
- Demonstrate excellent multilingual communication abilities, fluent in at least two languages among English, French, and Latin-based languages such as Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Europe, holding legal authority to travel within the EU—via EU passport, residence permit, or a valid multi-entry Schengen visa.
- Exhibit exceptional cross-cultural communication, strong negotiation skills, resilience, and high self-motivation proven by independent market development success.
