Company Overview

Julius is an AI-driven workforce technology firm dedicated to revolutionizing the way communities engage with key industries shaping America's future. We collaborate with foundations, workforce groups, government entities, and educational institutions to analyze employer demand and create clear pathways to high-growth careers by leveraging AI-based labor market insights and career guidance tools. Our impact spans sectors such as clean energy, AI infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, semiconductors, skilled trades, and other emerging industries, aiming to provide meaningful economic opportunities.

Role Summary

The Manager of Strategic Partnerships is a full-time position, primarily remote, with preferences for candidates located in Washington, DC, Boston, MA, or New York, NY. This role emphasizes relationship-driven growth, focusing on nurturing current client partnerships, driving platform adoption and contract renewals, identifying opportunities for expansion, and fostering long-term revenue growth. Initial responsibilities include managing an existing portfolio of workforce, nonprofit, and government partners before progressing to warm outbound business development and acquiring new partners. Reporting to the VP of Partnerships and collaborating closely with leadership, you will facilitate organizations in optimizing Julius's workforce intelligence and career navigation solutions while identifying new avenues for broadening our influence.

Qualifications

  • Background working with nonprofits, government agencies, educational bodies, workforce development, or economic development partners is highly desirable.
  • A proven track record in managing contract renewals, client retention, account growth, or increasing revenues.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including proficiency in presentations, proposals, and client interactions.
  • Comfortable demonstrating technology products, explaining data platforms, and articulating product value to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational abilities to juggle multiple client accounts and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with CRM platforms for pipeline and customer relationship management.
  • Knowledge of workforce development, labor market data, community colleges, sector partnerships, or economic development is advantageous.
