Manager, Procurement (Sustainability)

Role overview

Resorts World Sentosa is looking for a Sustainable Procurement Manager to help build a supply chain that is more responsible, resilient, and prepared for the future. In this role, you will shape procurement policies, sourcing practices, and supplier engagement programs so they reflect sustainability priorities and support corporate ESG goals. The position is closely tied to ISO 20400 guidance and will involve driving supplier decarbonization, improving ESG outcomes, and strengthening sustainability practices across procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the Sustainable Procurement Policy current and aligned with corporate ESG objectives as well as relevant industry standards and benchmarks.
• Develop and refresh category playbooks that include sustainability requirements, risk reviews, and supplier performance expectations.
• Partner with category managers to weave sustainability objectives into sourcing plans and procurement strategies.
• Plan and support supplier engagement efforts that focus on Scope 3 emissions reduction and climate-related action.
• Enable supplier capability-building initiatives that help improve sustainability practices and outcomes.
• Assess and track supplier ESG performance across environmental, social, and governance areas.
• Work with category managers to build ESG measures into supplier scorecards and reporting tools for monitoring sustainability KPIs.
• Support annual sustainability reporting on responsible sourcing, ensuring the information is accurate, transparent, and consistent with corporate ESG commitments and reporting standards.
• Embed sustainability expectations into procurement SOPs and ensure they remain aligned with ISO 20400.
• Promote ongoing improvement and best practices in sustainable sourcing.
• Coordinate closely with internal teams such as Procurement, Sustainability, and other business units to keep objectives aligned.
• Represent the organization in industry forums and sustainability-focused networks where relevant.
• Run end-to-end procurement activities for technology solutions and services, including RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes.
• Handle sourcing, negotiation, commercial evaluation, and award recommendations.
• Negotiate commercial terms to achieve value for money and cost efficiency.
• Ensure procurement work follows company policies, procedures, and governance requirements.
• Drive procurement deliverables in line with company and team KPIs.

Requirements

• A degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, Sustainability, or a related discipline.
• Proven procurement experience with a strong emphasis on sustainability and ESG.
• Working knowledge of Scope 3 emissions, ISO 20400, and sustainable supply chain practices is preferred.
• Experience with Ariba or SAP will be considered an advantage.
• Comfort using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
