Job description

Role overview

This position focuses on shaping and delivering tourism strategy for the resort. The role combines planning, execution, stakeholder management, research, and cross-functional coordination to ensure initiatives move forward on time and produce measurable outcomes.

Planning and execution

  • Help develop and implement strategic tourism initiatives, with strong emphasis on delivery, accountability, and timely execution.
  • Convert strategic direction into practical plans, clear milestones, and assigned ownership so progress can be monitored and issues identified early.
  • Own and maintain business scorecards that generate useful, timely insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Work effectively in a fast-moving setting while maintaining both speed and quality in delivery.

Integration and stakeholder collaboration

  • Serve as a connector across internal teams, leadership, and external partners to align efforts and achieve shared outcomes.
  • Work with internal business units to align priorities, coordinate inputs, manage dependencies, and push execution across strategic programs.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with outside stakeholders such as statutory boards, ministries, corporate partners, advisors, and consultants.
  • Lead regular alignment discussions and government-facing meetings to support decision-making, ownership, and execution progress.

Research and strategic support

  • Conduct market and strategic research to remain current on tourism trends, policy changes, and industry developments.
  • Work with stakeholders to turn insights into practical recommendations that support tourism objectives.
  • Support the design and coordination of tourism initiatives that promote growth and create measurable resort-wide impact.

Requirements

The role calls for a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Public Policy, Economics, or a related field, along with at least 8 years of relevant professional experience. Candidates should understand government policies and strategies connected to tourism development and economic growth.

Applicants must be comfortable working across complex, cross-functional environments and should bring commercial acumen, strong analytical ability, and the skill to influence others and create alignment without direct authority.
