Job description
Role Overview
This position is crucial in managing and tracking Commitment to Defence programmes focused on Pre-Enlistees and National Servicemen (NSF) within the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), Ministry of Education (MOE), and affiliated educational bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, oversee, and monitor engagement activities directed at Pre-Enlistees in schools and National Servicemen within sub-units.
- Expand and maintain the engagement framework across various Services and school networks.
- Manage relationships and communication with sub-units, supporting organizations, and other external parties.
- Design, propose, and carry out plans, while addressing stakeholder inquiries and challenges effectively.
- Establish and manage continuous feedback mechanisms to evaluate initiative success, promote awareness, and identify opportunities for enhancement.
- Handle administrative tasks related to budgeting, finance, and logistical support for engagement events.
Challenges
- Remaining responsive to the changing interests and requirements of Pre-Enlistee and NSF groups.
- Effectively engaging with a variety of external stakeholders within Singapore’s educational systems.
Candidate Profile
- Academic background in Human Resource Management, Public Relations, Communications, Data Analytics, or similar disciplines.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in stakeholder coordination, community engagement, or administrative roles is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical aptitude with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of both independent work and collaborative teamwork within a small group.
- The appointment level will reflect relevant experience.
