Job description
About the Role
SingHealth’s Office of Digital Strategy is looking for a Manager to help steer digital transformation and AI capability building across the organisation. This role sits within Singapore’s largest public healthcare cluster and supports initiatives that influence patients, clinicians, and communities through digital health strategy.
The position focuses on designing and rolling out digital health and AI literacy programmes across SingHealth, including competency framework development, strategic partnership management, and programme governance. It is suited to someone who enjoys working across healthcare, technology, and strategy while building workforce readiness for a fast-changing digital environment.
What You Will Do
You will take a lead role in strengthening digital capability across the workforce by helping shape digital and AI competency frameworks and learning curricula that align with SingHealth’s digital health direction. The work involves ensuring the learning approach is grounded in adult learning principles, selecting and curating relevant content, setting quality checks, and measuring outcomes as well as digital adoption indicators.
You will also refine programme content based on technology developments, feedback from stakeholders, and current industry practices so that the learning remains practical and up to date.
In addition, you will coordinate initiatives that cut across SingHealth entities to deliver digital literacy efforts at scale. This includes building and managing partnerships with training providers, academic institutions, and government agencies, while also engaging stakeholders to ensure capability-building plans support operational priorities. You may also help organise events, forums, and other platforms that encourage knowledge exchange across institutions.
Another key part of the role is managing budget planning and financial monitoring for digital literacy programmes so that resources are deployed effectively and the initiatives remain cost-conscious. You will also track programme performance and use findings to support ongoing improvement.
Requirements
The role calls for a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Health Informatics, or a discipline related to people and organisation.
You should bring at least 6 years of experience in designing and rolling out organisation-wide training and development programmes.
Experience in building and sustaining strategic partnerships with academic institutions, professional bodies, or technology vendors is important.
Strong analytical and critical thinking ability is needed to assess complex situations and make decisions based on data.
You should also have solid project management capabilities, including the ability to plan and deliver programmes within agreed objectives and timelines.
Exposure to digital health, healthcare operations, or digital transformation programmes will be an advantage.
