About the role
The Centre for Population Health Research and Implementation (CPHRI) serves as a shared hub within the SingHealth Regional Health System for population health research, innovation, implementation, and evaluation. It is focused on using data and technology to strengthen population health programmes and turn research into practical improvements in care delivery.
This position supports the Population-based, Unified, Learning System for Enhanced and Sustainable Health (PULSES) Centre Grant. The grant is designed to build a learning, integrated regional health system that can respond to unmet needs and advance population health research in Singapore.
What you will do
- Support the Principal Investigator with literature reviews and systematic reviews.
- Contribute to study design and planning activities.
- Carry out quantitative and qualitative research work.
- Analyse research data and interpret findings.
- Coordinate analytical and research tasks across projects.
- Draft manuscripts, reports, and proposal documents.
- Provide technical input and research assistance to department colleagues in analytics and programme evaluation.
- Help develop educational curriculum and deliver education-related activities across population health research topics and projects.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Health Economics, Public Health, Biostatistics, Social Science, Epidemiology, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in population health research.
- Exposure to health economics, built-environment and social factors in health, or implementation science will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work with at least one statistical software package such as SPSS, STATA, or SAS, or with qualitative analysis software such as NVivo.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Work arrangement
This is a hybrid position, combining remote work with office-based work.
