Overview
Ichor Systems is seeking a Manager of Talent Acquisition for the Asia region, based in Singapore. This role manages the recruitment teams and activities across Singapore and Malaysia, ensuring smooth execution of hiring processes, collaboration with business leaders and HR Business Partners, and delivering high-quality candidates efficiently while providing an outstanding experience for both applicants and internal teams.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters to meet hiring objectives.
- Establish clear performance standards and use metrics to monitor progress and enforce accountability.
- Effectively allocate team resources to align with shifting business priorities and recruitment demands.
- Foster a unified "One Ichor" culture, encouraging cooperation among Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with HRBPs and business leaders to forecast staffing needs and formulate recruitment strategies.
- Continuously gather and analyze local and regional labor market data to refine talent acquisition approaches.
- Oversee the complete recruitment lifecycle, implementing effective sourcing strategies to attract diverse and qualified candidates.
- Maintain consistent, structured, and compliant selection processes.
- Execute employer branding strategies locally to ensure consistent, persuasive messaging across job postings, communications, events, and outreach initiatives.
- Collect and share insights from the market and candidates to enhance employer branding and recruitment messaging.
- Coordinate talent marketing campaigns, hiring events, and community engagement to boost brand recognition.
- Engage with local professional and industry groups to stay informed about competitive employer landscapes and promote Ichor’s brand.
- Serve as the regional lead contact for recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) vendors supporting manufacturing recruitment needs.
- Work closely with the Global TA team to optimize recruitment processes, tools, and workflows.
- Track and report key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, hiring quality, and pipeline health.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of recruitment data within ATS and related systems.
- Advise hiring managers on market trends, talent availability, and best hiring practices.
- Advocate for an inclusive, high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Collaborate with HR, Total Rewards, and Employer Branding teams to align offers and messaging.
- Comply with local and international employment laws, company policies, and global hiring standards.
- Support auditing, reporting, and documentation requirements as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a closely related field.
- Over 8 years of progressively responsible experience in talent acquisition.
- At least 2 years in a leadership position managing recruitment teams.
- Proven experience recruiting across multiple functional areas and organizational levels.
- Strong familiarity with recruitment metrics and delivering operational excellence.
- Demonstrated capability to influence and partner with senior leadership.
- Experience working within manufacturing, technology, or global organizations.
- Track record supporting high-volume and technical recruiting processes.
- Knowledge of global hiring practices and immigration regulations.
