Position Overview
The role of Manager – Medical Science based at Sun House, Mumbai, belongs to the Medical Science / Clinical Research department and requires full-time commitment. This opportunity targets MBBS plus MD (Pharmacology) graduates keen on clinical research, medical oversight, and scientific communication. Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee medical monitoring including determining patient eligibility based on inclusion/exclusion criteria and comprehensive medical histories, alongside reviewing study endpoint data and safety investigations.
- Develop and present study synopsis, protocols, and Clinical Study Reports during subject expert committee regulatory meetings.
- Work closely with clinicians and key opinion leaders for feedback on clinical trial design, comparators, and endpoints to finalize the synopsis.
- Approve patient eligibility through the Interactive Response Technology system.
- Coordinate with data management teams to ensure timely data extraction, engage in data cleaning, and facilitate prompt database locking and generation of tables, figures, and listings.
- Provide training to study teams on protocol details and their application, emphasizing the importance and criticality of activities vis-à-vis study endpoints.
- Address investigator queries concerning protocol compliance and resolve issues involving study sites and the Ethics Committee.
- Review Adverse Events (AE) and Serious Adverse Events (SAE) reports, furnishing timely comments.
- Author scientific documents and coordinate publication efforts in clinical journals, abstracts, and articles, collaborating with statisticians for additional data analyses and participating in scientific presentations.
Educational & Experience Prerequisites
- A recognized MBBS degree is mandatory.
- An MD in Pharmacology is strictly required.
- Applicants with other pertinent medical qualifications will be considered.
- Applicants may be freshers or possess up to two years of relevant clinical research experience.
