Job Overview
The Foundation seeks passionate public health professionals to contribute to improving health service delivery in rural Karnataka. The role of Resource Person – Health involves supporting programmatic efforts, collaborating with stakeholders, and empowering frontline workers to strengthen healthcare access and quality across select blocks in the state.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate effective implementation and support of public health programs to improve service delivery.
- Establish connections and coordinate activities among all public health stakeholders at the block level, including Public Health Centres (PHCs) and Sub-centres.
- Collaborate with staff and frontline community workers such as ASHAs, ANMs, CHOs, MOs, community groups, SHGs, and PRIs to reinforce health services provided at Village Health and Nutrition Days (VHSNDs).
- Perform needs assessments, contribute to planning, and conduct training sessions for health personnel to build capacity.
- Create and disseminate health education materials to stimulate health-seeking behaviors and foster sustained community ownership of health programs.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
- Master's or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field coupled with professional experience in public health.
- Three to five years of practical experience working in rural public health settings.
- Experience related to reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health (RMNCH) is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with PHC/Sub-centre staff, frontline workers, and block teams.
- Proven ability in capacity building and fluency in both Kannada and English.
