About the Team
The Oracle Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) team collaborates with business leaders to foster high-performing teams by aligning HR strategies with corporate goals. They provide support on workforce planning, employee relations, talent management, organizational effectiveness, and data-informed decision-making.
Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned HR Business Partner with over 7 years of advanced HR experience to support a line of business comprising more than 600 employees in Bangalore. This position requires close collaboration with leadership to align HR initiatives with business priorities, address organizational challenges, influence workforce strategies, and deliver impactful business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership to comprehend strategic priorities and synchronize HR efforts accordingly.
- Diagnose organizational issues and recommend effective HR interventions to resolve them, enhancing business performance.
- Offer strategic advice on workforce planning, talent management, organizational health, succession, and employee engagement.
- Handle complex employee relations cases, including conducting workplace investigations and ensuring adherence to company policies and ethics.
- Analyze workforce data such as attrition trends, headcount fluctuations, talent mobility, and other HR metrics to provide actionable insights.
- Influence leadership decisions through data-backed recommendations to improve retention and productivity.
- Suggest enhancements to HR policies, processes, and organizational protocols.
- Lead and contribute to cross-functional HR projects and strategic initiatives.
- Establish trusted partnerships with business leaders, HR centers of excellence, and other stakeholders.
- Create HR communication materials, change management documentation, and presentations for leadership.
Qualifications & Skills
- MBA with a specialization in Human Resources or an equivalent postgraduate HR qualification is mandatory.
- More than 7 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner or in strategic HR roles.
- Proven track record supporting large organizations with 600+ employees.
- Skilled at identifying business challenges and implementing HR strategies yielding measurable results.
- Extensive experience in employee relations, including complex investigations and issue resolution.
- Expertise in talent strategy involving workforce planning, succession, retention, and organizational development.
- Strong analytical skills in HR metrics such as attrition, headcount, employee lifecycle, engagement, and performance.
- Ability to influence senior leaders and act as a trusted HR advisor.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, consulting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Capacity to manage multiple strategic HR initiatives in a dynamic, matrixed setting.
Additional Preferences
- Experience with enterprise technology companies or multinational corporations is advantageous.
- Knowledge in change management and organizational design is beneficial.
- Familiarity with HRIS tools like Oracle HCM, Workday, or SuccessFactors.
- Project management skills and professional HR certifications such as SHRM, HRCI, or CIPD are preferred.
