About MAS Amity
MAS Amity, established in 2021 and based in Singapore, operates as a unified customer-facing trading entity and investment holding company for the MAS group. It serves as the single legal point of contact for customers, providing seamless access to the group's capabilities across Marketing, Design, Technology, Finance, and Procurement functions. Additionally, MAS Amity acts as an investment holding firm for the group's important manufacturing sites. Leveraging its strategic position, market knowledge, and resources, MAS Amity aims to lead the group into its next phase of expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the full spectrum of business development initiatives to meet targeted business goals.
- Manage designated customer accounts, ensuring excellence in execution and fostering business growth.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders across Strategic Business Units (SBUs).
- Convert customer needs into effective action plans that facilitate successful project delivery.
- Drive the onboarding process of new customers across the region, aligned with MAS’s growth strategies.
- Proactively discover, pursue, and secure new business prospects.
- Assess customer needs and assign business to the most appropriate MAS units based on capability, capacity, and strategic alignment.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders to guarantee smooth customer onboarding and project execution.
- Manage the entire development lifecycle from initial concept to mass production.
- Assist in seasonal and yearly planning and contribute strategically to portfolio and category growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with development, sourcing, planning, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely achievement of critical milestones.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays and escalation.
- Ensure punctual submissions, pricing, project handovers, and bulk deliveries while upholding quality and compliance standards.
- Support pricing strategies and cost negotiations to improve profit margins, cost-effectiveness, and optimize capacity usage.
- Take ownership of assigned projects from start to finish, conducting reviews and tackling challenges effectively.
- Maintain clear communication with all internal and external parties.
- Stay informed on market trends and customer strategies to spot growth opportunities and promote continuous improvements.
- Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, group and company policies, and maintain rigorous documentation and reporting standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must be a Singaporean citizen with mandatory fluency in Japanese (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Possess 5 to 6 years of pertinent experience in business development or related fields.
- Hold an MBA, degree, or professional credentials in Marketing, Management, or Finance.
- Exhibit intellectual curiosity and a strong commitment to ongoing learning.
- Experience in account management and onboarding customers is essential.
- Demonstrate excellent teamwork and collaboration skills to interact effectively across functional teams.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Strong communication and negotiation capabilities.
- Exceptional planning, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
