Job description
Overview
The Manager will be responsible for planning and executing public communication strategies and managing stakeholder relationships. This role focuses on outreach programs related to future care planning (FCP), particularly involving the Special Needs Trust (SNT) and the GOAL+ matching grant programme. Acting as the main liaison for partner organisations and caregivers, the manager will drive awareness and education initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement outreach strategies to enhance awareness and education around SNT, GOAL+, and FCP.
- Manage the creation and production of marketing materials including videos, brochures, and annual reports, ensuring alignment of SNT/GOAL+ with FCP themes when appropriate.
- Spearhead the procurement and development of deliverables such as resource kits, talks at special education schools, caregiver forums, training sessions, and surveys.
- Compose press releases, newsletters, speeches, and official statements to support communication goals.
- Develop and maintain digital platforms and social media channels to promote SNT, GOAL+, and FCP initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators to measure outreach impact and refine strategies accordingly.
- Handle inquiries via SNT hotline, emails, and walk-ins to provide assistance and information.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a degree in any discipline, with a minimum of five years relevant experience; prior social service experience is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities to confidently build relationships across all organisational levels.
- Strong team collaboration skills.
- Demonstrates analytical thinking and creativity.
- Effective project management and organisational capabilities, with competence in managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Canva or similar design tools, Microsoft Office suite, and website design software.
