About the Company
Our client is a manufacturing company specializing in Ductile Iron and Grey Iron Castings, with an overall turnover of Rs 1300 crore. The Gudur plant contributes Rs 500 crore to this turnover. The company aims to expand its business substantially to reach Rs 3000 crore within the next three years.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
We seek an experienced professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering and at least 12 years of proven expertise in capacity enhancement projects within manufacturing companies, preferably in foundry or casting industries. The candidate should demonstrate strong technical skills, an aggressive and challenge-driven mindset, and the ability to successfully manage and deliver projects within specified time frames and budget constraints. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Key areas of focus include cycle time management and ensuring a good return on investment (ROI).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead capacity enhancement projects specifically for foundry manufacturing units.
- Conduct facility gap analysis and capacity mapping to identify bottlenecks and optimize production flow.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within allocated budgets.
- Oversee cycle time management to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain clear and professional communication across teams and stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years of practical experience handling capacity enhancement projects in manufacturing environments, preferably in foundry casting companies.
- Strong technical acumen and willingness to take on challenging projects.
- Proven ability to manage project timelines and budget effectively.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
