About the Organization
The company operates in the manufacturing sector, specializing in Ductile Iron and Grey Iron Castings. With an overall turnover of Rs 1300 crore, the Gudur plant alone contributes Rs 500 crore. The organization's ambitious goal is to achieve Rs 3000 crore in revenue in the next three years.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage comprehensive electrical maintenance across the entire foundry plant, ensuring zero downtime of all electrical installations linked to casting operations.
- Develop, design, and implement effective maintenance strategies including preventive and predictive maintenance plans tailored for the foundry environment.
- Formulate and enforce company policies related to electrical maintenance and statutory compliance.
- Plan and oversee budget allocations relevant to maintenance activities ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
- Ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements related to electrical maintenance are met.
- Motivate and inspire the maintenance team to maintain high performance and operational efficiency.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing within all levels of the organization.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Minimum education requirement: Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering specifically.
- At least 12 years of experience in electrical maintenance with direct involvement in foundry or casting industries.
- Proven expertise in handling all types of electrical installations within a foundry environment with a strong focus on zero downtime.
- Strong leadership qualities to manage and inspire maintenance teams effectively.
- Good command of oral and written communication skills.
- Well-versed with statutory compliance and health, safety, and environmental standards applicable to foundry electrical maintenance.
